A Personal Note Before We Begin
The Hanuman Chalisa found me at a point in my life when things looked fine on the outside and felt anything but on the inside. I was stuck, quietly recalibrating, searching for something I could not yet name.
I am not a scholar of this text. I am not a teacher. I am someone who was helped by it. I am someone who returned to it, again and again, and found that its verses kept pointing me back to myself. To what I already knew. Back to who I already was beneath the noise of proving and performing and pushing through.
This deck is what emerged from that journey. It is my personal interpretation of the Chalisa, translated through the lens of leadership, self-knowledge, and the kind of pressure that comes with leading through uncertainty and change.
I offer it in that spirit. As a tool that helped me. In the hope that it helps you too.

A Note on the Source
The Hanuman Chalisa consists of 43 verses: two opening couplets, forty main verses, and one closing couplet. This deck draws from all 43, and adds a 44th card of my own making: the mirror card, representing you, the reader.
This deck draws inspiration from those verses but makes no claim to religious authority or scholarly interpretation. It is a personal, creative interpretation of a text that has been a source of inner guidance for its creator, offered with deep respect for the tradition from which it comes.
What This Deck Is
Forty-four cards. One for each verse of the Chalisa, plus one for you.
Not a devotional tool. Not a spiritual system. Not a five-step framework.
A mirror. Each card draws from a verse that has, for centuries, pointed human beings back to themselves, to their strength, their clarity, their capacity to act with integrity when the ground is uncertain. That is what these cards are doing here. Pointing you back to yourself. Because that is where true leadership begins.
Who This Is For
Leaders who are evolving. Not arriving, but evolving on their personal journey.
Those who are navigating genuine uncertainty, in their organisations, their careers, their sense of who they are becoming. Those who are carrying more than they name. Those who know that something needs to shift but aren't yet sure what, or how, or whether they have what it takes.
You have what it takes. These cards will help you find it again.
What This Is Not
This is not a self-help system. It will not give you a to-do list or a metric to track your progress.
It will ask you honest questions. It will name things you already know but haven't yet let yourself land on. It will meet you where you are, not where you think you should be.
If you're exhausted, it will acknowledge that before it asks anything of you. If you're on the floor, it will sit with you there first.
This deck does not push. It reflects.
How to Use It
There are three ways.
The first is the journey, one card a day, beginning to end, over 44 days. A deliberate season of inner work that mirrors the complete arc of the Chalisa. Use Journey Through the Deck for this.
The second is intuitive. Pull a card in the moment you need it. Before a difficult conversation. In the middle of a decision you're circling. On a morning when you've lost the thread. Trust what you reach for.
The third is by experience. Use Find Your Card to locate the human experience closest to where you are right now, and the deck will bring you the most relevant cards.
One Final Thing
Hanuman means struck on the chin. The ego, dissolved. What remains when you stop performing, stop proving, stop managing how you're perceived.
What remains is you. Clear. Grounded. Capable of meeting others exactly where they are, because you've learned to meet yourself there first.
That is the whole teaching. That is what these 44 cards are for.
